OVERBRIDGE RIVER RESORT

 Overbridge River Resort is a heavenly recreational resort located on the banks of the Suriname River in the midst of the jungle. After a drive of only one hour from the city, you enter pure untouched wilderness where the peace and quiet is only interrupted by birdsong, the croaking of frogs and sometimes the howling of monkeys.

During your stay at the Overbridge River Resort you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the untouched Amazon rainforest. A refreshing swim in the Suriname River takes care of any necessary cooling off. Later in the afternoon you are taken back to Paramaribo.  From Overbridge it is also possible to expand your trip with a visit to Joden Savannah.
