PALUMEU Meet the Trio and Wajana Indians while residing in a jungle lodge at Palumeu on the banks of the Tapahony River. Other than becoming familiar with the Indian culture, you will also visit the Makuba rapids from where you can enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna that the area has to offer. The indigenous village of Palumeu counts approximately 300 inhabitants. Two tribes, the Trio's and the Wajana's, live there together companiably despite the difference in language.
